Carlton club was first established in a wooden hut many years ago. The club was demolished and rebuilt in two stages. It went through a bad spell and was in decline. A new committee was formed and help was sought from the brewers to commence refurbishing the club both exterior and interior. Federation Brewey came to the rescue with a loan and the restoration work commemced. First a new roof, then central heating and refurbishment. It has taken 9 years to make the club into what it is today.
The Concert Room is now fully Air Conditioned. A new bar has recently been installed.
We ahve recently revised our banking and brewey deals which has resulted in cheaper beers for our members. A New smoking area has been created at the front of the Club. The Patio area has been refurbished and has roof which meets with government legislation for designated outside smoke areas. The construction was sponsored by our brewers and has cost the Club nothing.
